Yep, there have been rumblings for a while now, but I am happy to report details!
"I've got details, folks!" Yes, here's the 4-1-1--does anyone even say that anymore?--on the new limited-edition bubblegum pinky rings from David Yurman:
The rings are scented. You read that right: scented. (Let's just hope they exude more fragrance than odor.)
Each is named after, inspired by, and scented to match a classic bubblegum flavor. The five (5) varieties are licorice, spearmint, cotton candy, grape, and "bubblegum." (Think that original Bazooka scent on the last one, probably.)
The "stones" are scented resin, the shanks yellow or rose gold.
Each piece comes enclosed in a flashy pink gift box. (See below.)
The price point hits just below $900.
The pieces will be available in boutiques in early September.
UPDATED: Below are two images straight from (and courtesy of) David Yurman marketing, while the five following emerged in the media--which, I might add, seems quite taken with the designs--earlier today. If early indications hold true, David Yurman has a hit (mini-)collection on its hands.
